We commission switchyard for Jindal Industries’ Ranihati plant

Our Projects Division successfully commissioned a 132 kV switchyard for Jindal Industries’ Ranihati plant, which manufactures corrugated sheets and pipes for international markets. The switchyard was essential as the plant upgraded from voltage level 33 KV to 132 KV due to expansion and increased load.

Our project involved installation of two BB-make 30MVA power transformers and laying 9 kms of Extra High Voltage (EHV) cables and 3 kms of Optical Fiber Cables (OFC) underground, using Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD).

We completed and charged the project within the set timelines and to the customer’s satisfaction. This is a repeat order from Jindal Industries, following our successful execution of a 132 KV switchyard at their Jangalpur plant last year. To read full story about that project, click here.
