We commission indoor substation for Airports Authority of India

Our Projects division designed and engineered a 33/0.433 KV, 2x 2.5 MVA indoor substation for the Airports Authority of India (AAI).

We constructed the substation in the high security zone of an airport terminal in a major city of India, within the given timelines and adhering to all the stringent statutory approvals laid down by AAI, Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organisation (PESO) and Central Electricity Authority (CEA).

The load of the airport terminal is critical, hence we achieved the redundancy of power through 2 nos. of 2.5 MVA Dry Type Transformers, 4 nos. of 750 KVA DG Sets, 30,000 litre underground high speed diesel tank, and the associated HT & LT panels, along with the allied electrical and civil works. As part of the execution, we laid the underground HT cable for road crossings along the Airport road.
