We commission 220kV switchyard for SAIL Durgapur

Our Projects team successfully commissioned a 220kV switchyard for Steel Authority of India Limited’s (SAIL) Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP). We completed this project ahead of schedule, which is a rare feat in public sector enterprise projects.

In the formal inauguration of the switchyard, the Director In-charge of SAIL DSP, a Maharatna company, especially made a note of this achievement, and our exemplary execution that followed SAIL’s safety standards stringently.

As part of this MX 7 project, we supplied 80 MVA 220/33kV transformer, and 220 kV and 33kV bay equipment which includes SF6 breakers, isolators, LA, BPI and CTs including the civil foundations and structures for the equipment, as well as cable and cable trenches for interconnections and CRP panels for protection and control of the bay equipment.
