As part of our CSR initiative, we donated an anaesthesia workstation of German brand Draeger and three multipara Mindray monitors to Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj (CSM) Hospital in Kalwa. The machine will help strengthen surgical services at their operation theatres.
The CSM hospital and Rajiv Gandhi Medical College (RGMC) was established in 1992 at Kalwa. The hospital is ranked sixth in Maharashtra, and first in Thane and Mumbai suburban. It is run by the Thane Municipal Corporation and is equipped with over 500 beds and all major specialty departments.
RGMC offers MBBS courses at UG level, as well as post-graduate CPS Diploma courses in various specializations.
The machine was inaugurated last week by our R S Nair, in the presence of Dr Rakesh Barot (Dean), Dr Vijay Patil (Head of Anaesthesia), and other representatives from the hospital and BB.
We hope this contribution enhances patient care and recovery in communities in and around Airoli.
