Our SynchroVERT® IE5 Ultra Premium Energy Efficiency class IE5 motors have been selected for Technology Demonstration in the ‘2020 Innovation Challenge’ held under the Facility for Low Carbon Technology Deployment (FLCTD) Programme. This selection was based on our presentation to an expert panel during the final selection round which was held on 8th October 2020, in the category "Pumps, Pumping Systems and Motors".
FLCTD is jointly implemented by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), and is supported by the Global Environment Facility (GEF). This 5-year project aims to promote innovation in low-carbon technologies and their deployment in industrial and related sectors of Indian economy.
The annual Innovation Challenge competition identifies technologies and solutions that can improve efficient end-use of energy and, in turn, help reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the long term. The project will promote the deployment of winning technologies.
Our first in India Line Start IE5 motors have been successfully tested at ERDA, and offer significant energy savings and consequent CO2 emission potential, with short economic payback periods.
