Bharat Bijlee and KEB of Germany tie up for marketing of AC Variable Speed Drives

Mr Nakul Mehta of Bharat Bijlee Ltd & Mr Ralf Lueddecke of KEB at the signing of the agreement. In June 2007 Bharat Bijlee Ltd (BBL) entered into an agreement with KEB of Germany to market and service the KEB range of AC Variable Speed Drives. This is an exclusive marketing arrangement and BBL will be the sole distributor for KEB drives in India. A comprehensive range of Drives up to 900kW (690Volts) is presently available.

Karl E Brinkmann (KEB) has factories in Germany besides manufacturing facilities in USA and China. KEB is a leading manufacturer of AC Variable Speed Drives, Brakes, Clutches and Gears with a global turnover of over 200 million Euros. Cutting edge technology is developed at the R&D centre at KEB headquarters in Germany. KEB differentiates itself from the competition by providing application specific Drive solutions to OEMs.

Bharat Bijlee presently enjoys a very strong presence with OEMs in India. BBL will leverage this strength for marketing and servicing Drives in various industrial segments especially in key growth areas like Textile Machinery, Plastic Machinery, Sugar Mill Machinery, Compressors, Lifts and Cranes.
