Job Description

The incumbent will be responsible for achieving sales targets and adhering to sales budget through monitoring & timely corrective actions for any deviation, Identify potential business opportunities from multiple channels, negotiate and finalize terms with clients in terms of product specifications, payment terms and timelines. Liaise with the Planning and Execution team for execution of orders in line with predefined timelines.  Provide technical support to customers on after-sales related issues, Ensure all customer complaints are recorded and resolved within predefined timelines. Liaise with the network of distributors and dealers in the territory and escalate any significant issues to the Regional Head. Gather information for new developments, potential opportunities for expansion / diversification into new markets / geographies and update marketing team. Ensure collections from clients as per contractual agreement.  The job entails extensive travelling throughout the territory.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Candidates should be Degree / Diploma holders in Electrical / Mechanical / Production Engineering with relevant experience of 6-15 years in front line sales of industrial products like LT Motors, Pumps, Geared Motors etc will be considered. Computer (ERP) knowledge and good command of spoken English is must. He should have flair for sales and should have thorough knowledge of market. Good communication skills with high customer & result orientation are strong requisite for the said position. Knowledge of local language would be an added advantage.
